Min. raise or flat call. If anyone raises all-in you call. I think all may fold to your all-in here - it's early. I also think enough will call your flat call to come along with you and earn more than you would if you go all-in. MP1 has to act after all of them, so flat-calling may be the best option to get the best return.

I wouldn't go all-in, but would raise enough that a smaller flush has to call. Maybe another T250. If someone pushes, call and hope they don't turn over 9hTh

I'm not that concerned about smaller flushes. I want to rape the Aces.

You should be more concerned with raping the obvious broadway. It's a given - given so many callers.

The most important thing is that you want to take your time with this. Your all in may scare the other 2 out. You want to represent a straight here, not the flush. As a rule of thumb, 2x the re-raise is good, but remember, a lot of this comes down to what sort of bets you expect your opponents to call. At a minimum though you do your best to get more money in the pot, and hope someone re-raises you so you can lay the boots to him

In my experience Insta pushes are weak.

Strong = weak.

Though in this time Strong = strong

Hence the min raise option in my original response. It all depends on your read of how they will react. I agree that an all-in here is counterproductive.

Given the trade off between the amount of your raise and the likelihood that the other two will just fold (we have to give them some credit!) I would try a small raise to keep the betting alive just in case one of the fish is willing to bite and reraise.

If you bet a little more, you might get a call; if you push you probably won't. Seems like a few chips and the possibility of a few more offsets whatever you might get out of a big bet.

i think id raise to 400-500. i think thats about the limit of what most $16 players will call with just an ace.

if you're lucky you get a reraise. you will probably stack a smaller flush (hell, you'd stack me. i'd play my 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] to the felt here with the 4-straight on board every time)
