Default Annoying hand I lost

15/30 live. I open raise 4 off the button with AcKc. My LHO, a pretty loose passive, coldcalls. A not-quite-as-loose-or-passive coldcalls to his left. Everyone else folds.

Flop is Qs Ts 6h. I bet, guy to my left raises, guy to his left coldcalls, I call. Turn is the 5d and is checked around. River is the other red 5, I check, my LHO bets, the late player folds, I call and he shows me Qc9c and I shrug and muck and feel annoyed. Bleh.

I went to take a shower, got wet, found out I had no soap. That's life.

That does suck, but in a pinch, you can make do using shampoo.

What if you're bald and don't own any shampoo?

You would decide to take a Right Guard Shower, of course.

Then, suppose that you were out of deodorant, too?

You'd then try to go Euro and bathe yourself in cologne, but suppose you were out of that, too?

What would you do now?!?

Oh yeah, it wouldn't matter, since you're a professional poker player and just the act of showering menas you possess better hygeine than the other 8 players at your table. Never mind. Crisis averted.

Now here's a question. Yesterday I was playing and found the ultimate seat. I mean with the other 8 players around this table, I had THE absolute best one, everyone 100% perfectly placed to revolve around my corona.

However, the person to my immediate left had terrible bad breath, and the person to my immediate right had terrible body odor.

I got a seat change.

For the bad breath guy, you could offer the person some gum. While many people do little to zero breath maintenance, they will often leap at a free opportunity. I have done this twice and it has helped. As for the body odor, sorry about that, out of soap and shampoo, I conducted my once every five year ritual of trying to bathe with conditioner -- it still doesn't work, and I remain stumped about what conditioner is for then.

Good play unless you're Josh W.

Big deal. Try taking a shower, apply soap and shampoo, then run out of water.

Gee, the things you guys complain about ;-).

either check-fold or bet-fold the flop. i dont like a call after getting raised on that flop. forget your overcards, forget your gutshot, forget it. pretty small pot still. fold.
