More Party 50NL Action
2nd Orbit. No one is noticably out of line, but as you know, the level of play at this level is typically weak. No read on CO.
I have red TT on the button with $50 behind. CO opens the pot for $3, I call, and now the BB pushes for a total of $7. CO calls as do I. Flop: ($21) 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Cutoff checks. I bet out $20. After some hesitation on his part he calls the $20. Turn: ($61) Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] He open pushes. I feel sick to my stomach contemplating whether or not to call off the $23 left in my stack for the chance at the $85 or so sitting in the pot. Your move on the turn and comments on the rest of the action? Thanks |

Re: More Party 50NL Action
I reraise CO's pre-flop raise.
Or I reraise big the second time around to isolate. You're behind on the turn. He's almost guaranteed a call as you have no fold equity. He's certainly not trying to push you off the pot. |

Re: More Party 50NL Action
Reraising with TT preflop? Doesn't seem like a good idea.
My problem is putting him on a hand that makes sense given the action. What two cards is he holding? |

Re: More Party 50NL Action
In this spot reraising tt is a very good idea. you have position, your hand is likely to be best. And you have position.

Reraising with TT preflop? [/ QUOTE ] I quite like this play, especially in a great position on the button like yours. If you have any notes on villain a reraise with a PP can be useful in this spot. Does he always raise a certain xBB with AK,AQetc? This makes knowing whether a 7high flop is good for your 10's or not. I think villain has something like A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] |

Re: More Party 50NL Action
Reraising preflop eliminates my positional advantage since many party 50NLers like to get all in preflop with AK. I dont want to get into coin tosses with these guys.
By calling I get to use my position after the flop. I suppose AQ suited in spades is possible, buts its not likely. I think reraising preflop is awful. |
