Default Absolute have the best low limit players now?

Absolute is the only place that I play that the play is "text book" for the most part.

If I wasn't so much of a bonus whore you would not find me there. I can't get any calls with AA UTG raises there , while at other sites I sweat seeing how many people come along with me.

I see plays I would never see in my dreams at these tables elsewhere. ($3/$6 and lower).

dont know, i played 800 hands of 3/6 over there today and most players were a joke. Im up 110 for the day, but I dont think Ive ever been more depressed about being up...the crap I started losing to in the end was pretty insane. I would not say they are good at all. depends though. There are usually 2 other tighties at the tables.

800 hand sample huh. That should be sufficient to judge the quality of the site.

Anyway, for 5/10 over about 9,000 hands of 5/10 full there, the average pot size according to my PT is $49. Some of these games went short for a bit and I also don't mind playing HU. However I doubt that more than 1,000-1,200 of those hands are below 6-players. By contrast I think Party and UB are up in the $60s (I will have to check).

My thought on the Absolute 5/10 game, has always been tight/ passive. The trap I fall into on that game is too much semi-bluffing. My results in the game have gotten better since I have decided it is not a tradgedy if a bonus expires.

Before I was sitting in some awful games to collect the rakeback and bonus. Now I only play there when there is a good game. So I am getting less hands in, but my overall results (across the board, not just on AP) have gotten better, because I am spending less time in bad games chasing a bonus.

That said I think at 1/2 or 2/4 I would sit in the game no matter how bad it was, as the bonus and the rake back probably show you a much higher BB/100 return than they do at 5/10.

I Agree. That's why I stopped playing there. I don't enjoy playing primarily for bonuses and rakeback.

I have played almost 1k hands now against that Uglyowl-shark. Why can't he just move somewhere else?

I played there for one bonus and it was way to tight for me at the 1/2 levels it seemed like i never got callers with monster hands but i always lost alot of money with the second best hand like AK with top 2 pair. All the bonus seemed to do was stop me from losing more money i think ill stick to PP and UB bonus i usually make a killing there. Although my sample size is way way to small so it could have been just bad luck. I thought those sites where suppose to let u win alot of money when u signed up so u would keep coming back. I think there players are the definition of weak tight. But it's hard winning much their beyond the bonus. They do have more stupid games on the weekends and after work hours though..

I've played some 1/2 with you there and while much tighter than party it is still beatable for a good player. Unfortunately I'm not a good player.

Depends on the games. Sometimes there is a lot of tough games. I like playing there because the bottomless bonus and rakeback.

I have the same feeling about Absloute...been playing a lot of 1/2 there, about 3000 hands this past week. I started out losing with my normal PP style, but I seem to be doing better now as I'm adjusting to the game. The players there really make you work for your profit.

I've also been re-reading my poker library more trying to improve to get the money out of the super tight players there. Particularly, I think it's a great opportunity to work on hand reading skills since players are so much more predictable than at a place like PTY where it seems any two will do.
