Re: ($33) Bigslick, TPTK on uncoordinated board
change your subject to read, "coordinated board", there's a possible flush and straight draw out. Two mini raises...yeah, I fold. Against one opponent, I call and push the turn. You can't push the flop because the pots too large, either opponent would be getting the correct odds to call with two cards to come.

Re: ($33) Bigslick, TPTK on uncoordinated board
i shove
its a 33, this is just not an uncoordinated board at all, you'll see KQ and T9 just as often as 88/77. jaaaaaaaaam. |

Re: ($33) Bigslick, TPTK on uncoordinated board
I think this is a pretty close push. Due to the coordinated nature of the board you're likely to be ahead of both of your opponents. I'd also recommend making a larger raise preflop after the limper. 75-90 sounds better than 60.

Re: ($33) Bigslick, TPTK on uncoordinated board
also, stacks arent deep enough in SNGs to be leading with pot size bets.
most people tend to recommend between 1/2 and 2/3 pot... try it out for a bit and see if you like it. i think it allows you to get away from CBs easier when whiffed, and get more action on CBs when you dont whiff. or something. pot control blabbity blah. drink more beers mlagoo. |

Re: ($33) Bigslick, TPTK on uncoordinated board
I actually check-raise this flop all in because of its co-ordinated nature. Someone (if they have a draw or a piece of it) will bet it, you can be sure, and then read your push as a draw a lot of the time; thereby calling with KQ, KJ and other assorted rubbish. As you've played it, it's pretty ugly. I don't think there's much to choose between a fold and a push.. so I guess I'd err towards fold, and hate it.

Re: ($33) Bigslick, TPTK on uncoordinated board
These guys can't read, its a $33 tourney! I definitely would avoid the fancy play of checking here. In any case I like betting smaller on the flop to give them a chance to make a mistake....something like 150, and basically the only time you can even consider folding is when both people move allin. The way the hand played out....I would generally call, but not be excited about it.
