Re: My poker blog - from .5/1 to 15/30
I made this journey. It's fun and frustrating. Good luck.
P.S.: It helps to be a fish on a hot streak. edit: allow anonymous comments on your blog. Save Blogger from becoming MySpace! |

Re: My poker blog - from .5/1 to 15/30
I tried to leave you a comment but I couldn't because I don't have an account there.
I do agree that SnG's are the devil, and that no matter how much I try I can't consistantly beat them. I do have one MTT win to my credit though, if not that, who knows how deep the red would be. Maybe we should try those new Stars $1 MTT SnG. Limit is all I'm good at, when I play NL with my friends live, I just suck so bad because I get so bored. Waiting around for any hand. Multitabling limit = always (usually) a hand to play. I've moved from .50/1.00 to 1/2 and 2/4. I usually play both 1/2 or 2/4 depending on the bonus I'm trying to clear and how much I want to gamble for the night. Good luck making it to 15/30, I couldn't handle the $$$ value of the swings. I get pissed when I'm down $50 playing 2/4 and thats only about 12 BB. |

How does someone who plays .5/1 get 2300 posts on a poker forum?!

I'd say try playing 4 nights a week for a longer amount of time. You aren't going to want to spend every night of your last summer before college infront of your computer playing poker.
