I've always liked the piece playing when Edward G. Robinson goes in to be euthanized in the movie Soylent Green.
Man I loved that movie when I was a kid.

Oh yeah, and my wind chime plays Beethovens Moonlight Sonata which is goot.

I don't think anyone told you what this was yet. It's Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons"

Mars from "The Planets" by Holst is always good to get the blood boiling.

Best 20th Century piece - "Rhapsody In Blue" by Gershwin.

Best work you might have heard, but have no idea what it is - "Ma Vlast" by Smetana

Smetana's underrated (actually underknown), I like his Violin Concerto also.

Another vote for best piece most people have heard but dont know what it is- the "Nimrod" variation from the Enigma Variations by Elgar.

I love the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven but I wouldn't it's the best

I disagree. I think that Mozart's requiem is an amazing piece but it's nowhere near the best. Here's just a sample of pieces that I think are better.

Bach's St. Matthew Passion
Beethoven's Symphony No. 9
Mahler's Symphony No. 9
Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5

Beethoven's 5th in C minor.

Also, I know it's not the best, but I am a huge Ave Maria fan.
