Simpe (I hope) small pot question
5/10 Party 3handed. Villain is tight solid and mildly aggressive (standard solid player).
Hero is dealt : J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the button, Hero raised to 35 both opps called. Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Pot : 105 SB check , BB (Villain) lead for 75, what's your default plan ? If call what after brick comes and Villain check If raise what's future plan ? Best wishes |

Re: Simpe (I hope) small pot question
I'll muck here. Too many players IMO call the flop hoping for villain to check on the turn. I think 60% of the time he's got the Q, 30% of the time he's on the flush draw, 10% you're good? well 60% of the time you're a 9% dog, 30% you're a 70% fav., and 10% you're good barring a beat. I like a fold. If villain was preflop aggressor, this is a different story.

Re: Simpe (I hope) small pot question
I call here a lot more w/ the Jd. Gives you backdoor outs, +2 nut (effectively) outs. As is i lik a raise/fold more... player/image dependent.

Re: Simpe (I hope) small pot question
Raise/fold situation, calling is bad.
