Yes, and you should fold it. Only with high pairs can you consider calling. I'm sure somebody else will post the math.

It will give you a tremendous amount of confidence when you confirm it was the right move, and hopefully plug some leaks if you're not pushing enough or pushing too much. I was convinced to finally buy it earlier this week and I couldn't be happier. |

Your equity is .21 if you fold, .31 if you call and win, and 0 if you call and lose. Your expected gain is (chance of winning) * (.31). For this to be greater than .21, your chance of winning would have to be better than 67%, but even against two random cards AQo only has a 64% chance of winning. So even if you knew your opponent would go all-in with anything here, you should still fold.
That's a bit counter-intuitive. |
