One 2001fp looks worse
My second 2001fp is kinda fuzzier and darker. Also, it doesn't use all the pixels on 1600x1200 like the primary one. Is there something I can do to test/fix it? Any ideas?

Re: One 2001fp looks worse
Ok, one looks darker always. I think there is a ghosting problem that is related to my vga source. Do I need a new video card?

Re: One 2001fp looks worse
first troubleshoot: switch outputs to see if it's the output on the card or the monitor.
edit: second troubleshoot: make sure there are no power cords interfering with the video signal. i.e. move cables around. |

Re: One 2001fp looks worse
Ok, it is definately the output on the card. I have ATI Radeon 9550 AGP VisionTex Xtasy. Can anyone recommend a good AGP card?

[/ QUOTE ] For most people's needs here (light gaming, some graphics work, mostly poker), a GeForce 6600 is your best bet. Runs around $100, has dual DVI, and 256MB of video RAM and is powerful enough to process most games that you'll be running. |
