First day at O8
Omaha Hi/Low $0.50-$1 PL (real money), hand #1,319,055,811
Table Truckee, 1 Oct 2005 9:41 AM ET Dealt: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] PRE-FLOP: 1 call, Hero bets $2.50 , 3 calls FLOP:5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Player A bets $2, Player B bets $5, 1 fold, Hero bets $27, Player A calls $25, Player B calls $22. TURN: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Player A bets $20, Player B calls $20, Hero calls $14 and is all-in. Alright this was a really confusing hand for me. I'm very new to the game and I'm not sure how you're supposed to play 2nd nut flush + nut low here. Was I pushing too hard? before the turn? It seems like I was pretty much comitted after that big bet on the flop... |

Re: First day at O8
Heck yeah...you have the nut low and you possibly have the best high. What else would you do with this hand? If someone has the Ad2, *shrugs* sucks for you.

Re: First day at O8
these are the hands you should love in plo8... it's a marginal hand (i.e., you could be quartered on the low and beat on the high), but you definitely have scoop potential. try to get all of your money in ASAP (as you did).
any reason you didn't have a full stack? |
