10/20 AA turn
I did not have stats on this villain but my read from this session is that he is a LAG.

Re: 10/20 AA turn
Lead--who knows what this monkey is doing on the flop. You run into out-of-line aggression on the flop most of the time. I'd wager more times than not he was just messing with you and will either call or check the turn depending on what you do. Don't let this boso's aggression on the flop deter you from betting and giving him a free card here.

I like leading and then calling down [/ QUOTE ] As do I. You have but one (BIG) pair. If you get raised here, he really likes something about his hand and you should assume you are behind. Call the raise and check-call the river unless the board pairs--in which case I would consider leading again esp. if it is the turn card that pairs or the botton card on the flop, but esp. the turn card. |

Re: 10/20 AA turn
well, if you are going for pure value, theres not really any realisic draws on this board so you dont really have to worry about him taking a free card, even though he probably wouldnt anyway, but check/raising might let him know that you are really serious about your hand and put him into call down mode, if you lead you might be able to get a 3-bet in
another question is what range do you think he has here? an overpair? a set? A7s? 58o or some stupid crap? what kind of LAG is this and how often do you think hes jamming this particular board with one pair or less? if you think you are ahead most of the time when he raises a turn bet id bet and try for a 3-bet, i think that would probably get you more in the long run then trying for a check/raise, if not, i guess bet/call or maybe c/r/call, i dont know |

lead and hope to 3-bet [/ QUOTE ] I think that's generally gonna be too many bets. If we want to put in that many I think lead-calling and checkraising the river is better. Rob |

Re: 10/20 AA turn
for some reason i thought we had 3-bet preflop, not raised.
i'm more inclined to c/r the turn given a correct reading of the play. |
