The Table Coach Articles Have Got To Go...
They're useless. I sure hope 2+2 isn't paying for them.

Re: The Table Coach Articles Have Got To Go...
They are not useless, but they have gotten rather empty
the last couple months, IMHO. Not everyone will enjoy every work of fiction, it is not your judgment that matters as far as whether or not it has value for the magazine. On the other hand, I would like to see it move along at a better clip, or come to a conclusion. Perhaps someone else will write something entertaining? |

[/ QUOTE ] I would always prefer to see this kind of negative comment than that of the original poster. All comments are always welcome, but the second kind actually alert me to potential problems so that I can attempt to work them out. Of course it will always be impossible to please everyone, especially as my humor can be very dry at times, but I would like to please as many as possible. Lori |

Re: The Table Coach Articles Have Got To Go...
if you had a garden or fruit trees than everyone would like your articles.
its alot tougher to write something that isnt just instructional and please those that are expecting just that. |

Re: The Table Coach Articles Have Got To Go...
I have trouble following Zee's strange words, but I'm a big fan of TC. Lori's writing style is humorous and entertaining. I agree that episodes 6+7 have been disappointments, but like any series, not all the episodes can be wonderful. I think Ep 5 was the first I read, and I absolutely loved it. I went back and read 3+4 and then PMed Lori for 1+2. 1+5 are the best 2, IMHO, but Lori's subtle humor will keep me reading.

Lori [/ QUOTE ] I thought the $2 joke was funny, but I agree with the second poster, in that there wasn't enough poker content in this one. I don't know man... FWIW I didn't even think Z's article was particularly enlightening either. Again... I enjoy reading it, but I wish there was a bit more "shock and awe" in terms of poker content. --Dave. Edit: After looking at the Zee post in this forum... I kinda feel bad. Yeah, I did think "it does not rain plums" was hilarious... but... poker content please??!! |
