Pacific Poker, 2.50 buyin, 20 person NL
First hand of the tournament, blinds are 10/20 Hero is in the SB and dealt: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] MP1 raises to 60 LP raises to 80 Hero calls MP1 calls Flop (250ish): Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] MP1 bets 20 LP raises to 100 Hero ??? Not quite sure what to do here. See another card for about 1:3 pot odds? LP has already reraised twice since this hand began. |

Re: 20person 2.50 ... AK OOP
You should be re-raising pre-flop, probably to 300. You've got a strong hand, but it's out of position, and you want to be the aggressor. Given your current spot, however, I'd just fold. There will be much, much better spots to get your money in. The $30 20-person tournies on Pacific are a donkfest, I can only imagine what the $2 looks like.

Re: 20person 2.50 ... AK OOP
Is the reraise to 300 reasonable, given that we only start with T800 chips?

Yeah, you didn't post stack sizes. You can just push if you want to, expect to get called by all kinds of garbage.

Pretty standard fold. You don't beat anything now. AK high 3handed is never good.
