There are a few things that I wanted different on the Paulson chips. I wanted to change one or two colors, I wanted bigger inlays, and I wanted custom inlay edges (cog, scallop, etc).
This poll is to find out what you want. If we can't get any of those things, would you still want to go with Paulson? In other words, if the inlay was smaller than the alotted flat area, if the colors are the same as the James Bonds, and if all inlays were round... Keep in mind that original group buy members will get a much better price than James Bonds, or any other retail Paulson prices. I'll post my opinion after a good many votes come in. Ten |

I voted to go with Paulson because, well... they are Paulsons. However I would not storm off in a huff if the project went the other way. I trust your integrity as the lead of this project.

As stated in the previous thread - the Paulsons are the whole reason I'm interested!
Great poll, very interested in the results. |

Depends who the other is and what they allow you to do. If, for instance, ASM relaxed their restrictions for this order or you had some crazy good TR King design it might be very interesting. I do like me some Paulsons, though I already have 1,000 of 'em.

They're going to fix the mold to better fit the smaller inlay. See Trademark Poker's new inlay

They're going to fix the mold to better fit the smaller inlay. See Trademark Poker's new inlay [/ QUOTE ] That's what I predict. Either the mold changes, or the inlay changes. I vote that the mold does, to reserve all grand and giant inlays for Casino use. As I said in another thread, if this happens then I'll go with Paulson anyway. At that point, the goofy inlay is fixed, but we still cannot change colors or inlay shapes. I'd be ok with that. Ten |

I'm only in if they are Paulson's.
Look's like this buy is going to take a while to happen. Suspect that I should get a small set from the Bond group buy and sell those when these are ready. |

It is the same as the one that was there several weeks ago.
I know this has been covered, but there are 2 basic options on how they can fix the mold. 1) They will ‘fill in’ the center (or extend the outer ridge inwards) to match the inlay size. 2) They will increase the inlay size (Standard to Grand). It seems that #1 is almost certain (especially since the proof shows the 'Paulson Chips' mold more inset from the outer chip edge), but that got me thinking that if they add extra chip material, doesn't that increase the weight of the chips? Are standard vs. grand inlay chips in general (Paulson/ASM etc) the same weight, or are the standards always heavier? Thoughts? J5 |

Answer to "Who else?": Matsui, ASM, TR King, in that order of preference. Matsui will be more expensive but I love their chips. ASM will take too damn long, but I love their chips. (And no dual color edgspots). TR King is not my favorite, but they are very high qulaity and are flexible.
Paulson is Paulson. They beat the other guys in every catagory (looks, quality, feel, resale value) except flexibility. Ten |
