Dumb rules question
Player A raises to T1000
Player B calls in MP Player C reraises on button to T2000 PLayer A shoves rest of chips in to make it T2500 Can Player C reraise if player B calls? Sorry, I should know this but dont. |

no, the allin has to be a full legal raise (minimum is the amount last raised, so in this case 1000.

if it is 1/2 a bet, then it is considered a full bet. Betting is reopened. Had it been 2499, all he can do is call, but at 2500 he can reraise.

This 1/2 bet rule is true of limit only I believe. In NL it has to be a full raise or you can only call and action is not reopened.
This has been covered a few times in the B&M forum. |

To get an exact answer, you better specify which rules you're talking about. I'm pretty sure one of the sites (Paradise, maybe?) didn't necessarily implement this in a standard fashion and any raise reopened the action. The standard is that any bet 1/2 legal or greater reopens the action, I believe, as others have mentioned.
