Short Stacked
blinds are 300/600 and you have T3300
30 spots till money Folded to you in MP. Is QTo enough to push? Normal table etc... I know there are some variables and such, but what are the parameters in these spots? Are there any good threads on short stack play? thanks |

Re: Short Stacked
Depends on table, but most times I would let this go.

Re: Short Stacked
I think it's a close fold that can be changed to a push given reads.
Btw, when you say 30 before the money, is that a lot or not? If there are 400 people left, I'd be folding this easily. |

Re: Short Stacked
I don't know of any good threads, but Harrington's book (the 2nd one "The Endgame" red cover) has a really good explaination and analysis of short stack situations. In this case, your "M" is only 4 - any decent hand folded to you in MP or later is an auto-push. If you let the blinds come around one more time, you're going to get auto-called when you do push, and even if you double-up (from 2500 to 5000) you're still in really bad shape. Harrington advocates pushing with any hand that is folded to you in this situation.
