game this friday, any advice?
This friday there is a 12 person tournament home game. The host wants to do 3 tables of 4. There will be unlimited rebuys for the first 2.5 hours, usually a 4-4.5 hour game.
Nearly all of the players are fishy and will look for race situations. My plan is to wait around for the field to thin and then make my moves. With this many people/rebuys it almost becomes a crap shoot. I have beaten this game consistently and can outplay most. What would you suggest for strategy, thanks in advance |

3 tables of 4? Do the majority of the players enjoy playing unnecessarily short-handed?
My advice to you is to do two tables of six.. and combine when down to 8 or so. |

Re: game this friday, any advice?
With that format, Id go in probably looking to race too, play the crapshoot, just a little better than my opponents. Look to limp more than normal and dbl up off of loose calls. 2 pair and up try to get all you can in the pot. MPNK will call in these environment. Waiting out in a twelve person rebuy is not an optimal strategy.
