The Death of a Good Friend
coltrane just called me from Lucky Chances. Effective today, bets larger than $200 are barred in Colma due to action of law. The $20-40 no-cap nl game (previously $10-10-20, $40 to go) is now a $20-40 blind $40-200 spread-limit game.
High stakes no limit is dead. Long live high stakes no limit. |

For what it's worth, I just talked to someone in the top section and she said that they expect to have things back to normal by next week.

Re: The Death of a Good Friend
The top section?
I haven't been in a few weeks, and now I'm sorry I've been neglecting poor LC. I'm actually in Berkeley too. What are you doing here? Do all you bay-ers every have a home game? Can I come? I don't have any real poker friends only imaginary ones. |

Re: The Death of a Good Friend
I am also another Bay-Areaite in search of a home game. If anyone knows a game with open spots, please PM me.
Thanks in advance. |

Re: The Death of a Good Friend
Wow, that's horrible. I remember reading in the Chronicle that they were trying to get this law passed, but it didn't sound like it would. Hopefully it gets overturned quickly - I was hoping to play in it in the next month.
