now maybe we all get to reveal screen names and discuss
If there is going to be a mass exodus out of the party skins because of the rakeback situation, maybe a lot of us will want to reveal our screen names - as Derek did in another thread - for the purpose of discussion and analysis.
How's that for a tiny sliver of a silver lining? |

Re: now maybe we all get to reveal screen names and discuss
Yeah, I´m not proud of that hand. Remember thinking that the 8/9 would be clean often though as he seemed pretty aggr after the flop.
Probably should have read the turncheck as him wanting a showdown and not have bet the river, but not sure. |

Hand with lootcake7:
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter Preflop: Lootcake7 is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 3 folds, SB raises, BB calls. Flop: (4 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets, BB raises, SB calls. Turn: (4 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) SB checks, BB checks. River: (4 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets, BB raises, SB 3-bets, BB calls. Final Pot: 10 BB You have the nuts, I'd be capping this river twice on sunday. You're probably spliting, but you're paying the max rake anyway. Another hand with lootcake: Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 1 fold, Button raises, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG calls. Flop: (6.40 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) BB bets, UTG raises, Button calls, BB calls. Turn: (6.20 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, UTG bets, Button raises, BB folds, UTG calls. River: (10.20 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG checks, Button checks. Final Pot: 10.20 BB Button is lootcake, he had QQ. I think this is an easy 3-bet on the flop. I consider betting this river too, given how you played it. I also had a few hands on GetTher1Time, all of them fairly solid, SUPER_LIKE_NINTENDO was the same. |

Re: now maybe we all get to reveal screen names and discuss
thanks for the post. In position against a flop check raiser, since I try to only raise or fold so I am always raising in podition, I am sure the flop checkraiser will bet turn and i auto raise any turn card. I agree, I should have bet the river as well. If I 3 bet flop and he ace comes on turn I might lose the weak hand from flop so allowing him to think his check raise scares me allows him to think he can bet the turn and i will fold, but I will actually raise turn no matter the card thereby gaining half a 1 small bet. But as you stated, if i fail to bet the river with this play then I lose 1 small bet also. The first hand is correct in think, for somewreason I figured the rake wasnt maxed, must have brain farted.

I had no intersting notes on you but over 150 hands you are on fire 23BB/100 and aggression over 4 on every street. Nice job.
