Policy on offensive avatars?
There was a NVG thread recently about inappropriate avatars. What is our policy here?

There was a NVG thread recently about inappropriate avatars. What is our policy here? [/ QUOTE ] i read that thread and came to the conclusion that since each person has the ability to turn their viewing of others' avatars off, its a self regulation matter. however, if Matt were to say, "ok, nothing NSFW is allowed as an avatar" id have no problem with that as many posters read at work (although, being seen at work just w/ the normal 2p2 screen up is probably pretty bad depending on where you work.) bottom line, i can go either way regarding the policy. Re: Policy on offensive avatars?
Ok, so what do you want to do about avatars. For example columbinus (sp?) has in his location "Mourning ...avatar" intimating that he had a previous avatar taken away. His new one was black and white of two people screwing in various positions. Seemed pretty sexually explicit. I deleted it and PM'd him. Right? Wrong?

Nick [/ QUOTE ] for a repeat offender who has been notified previously, just ban/temp ban them. there shouldn't be a need for telling them why. for someone's first offense, yeah, that seems about right. c |
