Re: AK.. can\'t let you go baby
I see nothing wrong with your play here. After UTG+1 caps the flop then checks the turn I'd bet too. When not raised, I'd also bet the river. Just be thankful your passive opponents made this hand relatively inexpensive for you. |

Re: AK.. can\'t let you go baby
Passive opponents? I'd hardly refer to the button as passive. Raising the flop with an underpair and the sucker end of open-ender against 4 opponents including a pre-flop raiser who just led into him?
Might even call him LAG. As for Hero's play, I like it through the turn. I'd check-call the river. |

Re: AK.. can\'t let you go baby
I'll probably be accused of being results oriented but why would you bet into a KQJ9 board on the river when all you have is top pair?

I don't think that's results-oriented. You have a good point.

Re: AK.. can\'t let you go baby
What do you put your opponents on after one raises you on the flop and one check-caps, only to call you down on the turn? Given that board by the river, I would be surprised if you were ever ahead of 2 other opponents.
Did you put both of the on Kx or building the pot with their Ax??? I wouldn't go betting this river often. Haupt_234 |
