When to Auto bet
When making a preflop raise with AK, AQ, KQ, etc and you miss the flop completely, under what circumstances do you NOT auto bet the flop when checked to? I know heads up is probably always a bet, but with 3 or 4 or more what do you do? Does it depend on how coordinated the flop is? Does it matter if you are first to act, last to act, middle?

Thanks. [/ QUOTE ] That's okay, I accept that not everyone reads the Digest that I pour my heart and soul into. <pauses for silent weeping> In any case, don't apologize, that thread certainly is not the be-all end-all on the topic. |

Re: When to Auto bet
I see this thread every other day. Read the miscellaneous section in WLLHE. They have a HUGE discussion on things to consider here. It's extremely important to read and understand that... since this issue comes up so many times when you play.

Re: When to Auto bet
Flop texture is very important. If the flop is something like J97 with 2 of a suit, don't autobet it. That flop is bound to hit someone. Now if the flop is 358 rainbow, I am betting this flop almost every time.
