Default Hosting of video files

I have a dedicated server with high-speed internet access, that I am volunteering to host user's video files on.

To upload your videos, connect via anonymous FTP to:

ftp.pokerdominion.com

Username: anonymous
Password: <your email address (optional)>

Upload your videos to the "twoplustwo" directory, NOT the "incoming" directory. This directory is write-only, meaning you can't browse the files already there.

To access your newly-uploaded file, use the URL:

http://download.pokerdominion.com/tw...leNameHere>

So if you upload a file called PokerVideo1.avi, you can then get to it at:

http://download.pokerdominion.com/tw...okerVideo1.avi

Enjoy!

What happens when person 2 uploads pokerVideo1.avi ?

i think everyone should throw in their name somewhere in the file so that files will not get removed because of 2 of the same names.

Thx for doing this btw

Yeah I thought about this after I posted the instructions. Yes, the second one will overwrite the first. So we should have naming standards.

People should use their 2+2 screen name as the file name, plus a 1, 2, 3 for each video. kross1.avi, kross2.avi, kross3.avi, etc. Something along those lines.

Thanks!

You can just use Internet Explorer (and probably Firefox)

Just click:

ftp://ftp.pokerdominion.com

and drag/drop your files to the "twoplustwo" folder.
