Take on an aggro blind defender HU with 2nd pair?
I decided to play a few thousand hands one tabling 5/10. Blind play seems to be much more important here than lower. I came across a TAG last night who strongly defended any time I raised 1st in in late position (he was 15/11/3). A couple of time he had pushed me off a hand when I was stealing and another time he flopped a set of Tens when I had QQ. Basically, he thought he owned me (probably correctly!).
I have A7o in SB, Villian is BB. 8 folds, I raise, BB 3 bets, I call. Flop J76r I check, BB bets, I raise, BB 3-bets What now? I want to take him on. I have 2nd pair/TK HU. Is this the time to make a stand - or meakly fold and wait for a better time? |

Re: Take on an aggro blind defender HU with 2nd pair?
I think I'd rather cap the flop and lead the turn than risk getting 3-bet with a turn c/r, but they both seem over the top. I'm going to showdown here, but you're putting in an awful lot of bets from a guy who's pretty tight for 6-max. That's pretty over the top.
