Best under 21 gambling destination?
I'm 21, but a friend who I play poker with is not yet 21.
I'm wondering, there's Vegas, and Atlantic City, which are well known gambling destinations ... But, what is the best gambling (poker) destination for those under 21? |

Canterbury Park in Minnesota is 18+. It's a very nice place to play. All the limit hold'em you can stand, $2/4 through $30/60.

Re: Best under 21 gambling destination?
The problem with 18+ gambling destinations is that there's rarely ever anything to do in the area. Canterbury is about 30 mins south of Minneapolis and me and Tongni went out there for a day to the mall of America. There's some [censored] to do out there but not much.
Turning Stone is a barren wasteland. If you want night life don't go there. |

Gee, I manage to keep myself plenty busy with non-gambling-related activities. In exactly what area did you find the Twin Cities lacking?

[/ QUOTE ] You know, I'm not quite sure why I wrote that last part about MN. I'm sure that you can find whatever you want to do in downtown Minneapolis. In fact, I was hoping to visit a sushi bar there but we never made it. Canterbury is a really nice choice for poker anyway, the games are very fast and very loose. |

Yeah, if you said that there isn't anything to do besides gamble in Shakopee, I wouldn't argue too much. Sushi is decidedly not my thing, but I am told there are good places in the area.
Now if you could only get a decent submarine sandwich around here.... |
