Best beat
When you think of an awesome beat in a hip hop/rap song, what's the first thing that comes to mind.

"Xxplosive" from Chronic 2001. Awesome beat, dumb lyrics.

Re: Best beat
nearly all of dre 2001... he's the master, though pharell is coming up and timba is very close.
I think you meant "till my legs give out"... it might not be the right name either, its track 18 on Eminem Show... and as far as rhythmic timing, lyrics and beat, it is the greatest rap song of all time. |

Re: Best beat
fine, be that way.
be all correct and make me feel stupid when I knew that that was correct ten seconds after I typed the wrong name. ....sheepish. but yes, xxplosive is way up there. hey, has anyone else heard the incredibly crap rap or rnb or whatever song thats on the radio now that uses a slowed version of the big poppa beat? I get excited whenever I hear the beginning, only to be disappointed that its not biggie. ugh, I hate sampling sometimes. |
