Intentional Disconnecting on Party
Hey, Im sure this has been covered but I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for. What should I be doing when players abuse the disconnect protects on Party/etc? Ive been sending emails to info(at)partypoker.com with the players name, the table, and time. Is this even worth my effort? Has Party been known to do anything about these cheaters?
Thanks. |

Re: Intentional Disconnecting on Party
E-mail disconnections@partypoker.com, abuse@partypoker, and info@partypoker.com. tournements@partypoker.com if you're in one.
If an account gets enough complains and they have more than a few hands that looks like the account holder abuses DP he / she gets it removed from the account. DP is pointless anyway. |

E-mail disconnections@partypoker.com, abuse@parypoker, and info@partypoker.com. tournements@partyppoker.com if you're in one. [/ QUOTE ] Corrections: abuse@partypoker.com and tournaments@partypoker.com. I don't usually care about spelling mistakes in other people's posts, but for email addresses, it makes a difference. Thanks. How do you figure DP is pointless?

Re: Intentional Disconnecting on Party
I figure its pointless because it is abused on the NL cash games every session I play. Nothing pisses me off more when my all in reraise is responded to with a network disconnection and the hand is played out without my opp having to call my reraise.
I am starting to think the No DP tables are the way forward. |

Thanks. How do you figure DP is pointless? [/ QUOTE ] Because I only play NL and I've only seen it abused. Small sample size, I know. |

Re: Intentional Disconnecting on Party
Its potential for abuse in limit games is much smaller. I think the feeling of security it gives limit players is more important than the rare problems it causes in those games.
