black people\'s mentality
it sems like black people think that evry time there is some kind of catatstrophe where there is no authority to police the situation that they have the right to act like criminals. I think they all have a chip on their shouder and they think its their chance to "get the white man back" for their troubles. Do other people see this?

I don't know.
But the one thing I do know is that black people really like shoes for some reason. |

Re: black people\'s mentality
The way I see it, this is the closet fear-monger racists getting a chance to say "I told you so" or at the very least feel less guilty about being scared or uncomfortable around blacks in their own community.
They neither understand the situation nor do they really care as long as they can justify their own agendas. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think it's fair to say you and I see it the same way; I guess it's a nice reminder for me...because the next time I hear "racism doesn't really exist in the United State anymore", I'll be able to think of this thread/these posts (and the many like them now that have sprung up in the last 48 hours) and remind myself that there are plenty of people who still believe in terrible, vile nonsense. |

Re: black people\'s mentality
The impression you get is the same impression many other people get in other societies of whichever group happens to be at the bottom socio-economically at the time. My great-grandfather said similar things about the Irish.

Re: black people\'s mentality
Anytime a group of poor people (in this case, poor black people) have the opportunity to get free things, they do.
