Still weighing whether or not to play..my dad is having his b-day party at 6 pst. Gives me 4.5 hours to play..not sure if I trust anyone to play under me, if I get that far of course. Still thinking, what do you think I should do?

My son has a soccer game from 4 to 5. I'm taking my laptop so I can play the first half hour, but I have a 15 minute drive home where I'll have to sit out or let my 11 year old play for me.

I use my cellphone as a modem.
Incidentally it saved my ass, I timed out with AA and had it folded on a hand where two guys made full houses, I probably would have lost a ton of chips or went bust on the hand.

[/ QUOTE ] im sorry to go off track of the tournament. but using your cell phone as a modem sounds very interesting. If you could give me a bit of information on this I would appreciate it. I would love to be able to take my laptop around and play some whereever I am. Thanks Davidross, and good luck in the tourney.

Most cell phones have a data adapter now. I purchased a kit ($100) that gives me software and a cable and a number to call to get internet hookup anywhere there is 1X service. I can pay by the byte or a flat rate for a month. If I know I'm going to be away I pay the monthly rate, otherwise I pay the cell charge.

Decided not to play. The whole point in playing is to get deep, and if I am playing just for someone else to play for me near the end, I don't see the point. GL all in it.
