100$ NL - Make sucker straight on 3 flush board and get minraised
Bodog $100 NL
I have ~$150ish, Villain covers. 4 limpers to me in the SB. I have 97o and complete. BB checks. Flop is A-J-T with two clubs. (6$). Checked around. Turn is the 8 of clubs, putting a 3 flush out there. I pot. Folded to Villain who minraises. Only note I have on him is that he'll attack weak bets with suspect hands, but I don't think my bet qualifies as weak. I have the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], which I'm sure is important somehow. What's my play? |

I call and block/value a club or non-club river.
If he raises on the river.. you gotta lay down. -fop |

It's either fold or call and block river. Probably the latter. (But don't make your river block small/weak )

Re: 100$ NL - Make sucker straight on 3 flush board and get minraised
I called. River card was an offsuit K, definitely not the most comfortable card in the deck. I would normally block, but a player who minraises probably bets less on the river than I do as a blocker, so I just check/called. Villain had QT with the Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Thanks for the good responses.
