Pacific $2 $4
Very very very passive table.
First hand am dealt: 10 10 in the BB, 7 limpers to me and I check. Flop 6h 8s 9d Rainbow I bet and get 5 callers. Turn 3d putting a flush draw on board I bet get 4 callers River 5h I check along with everyone else and mhig. As soon as the flop hit I thought my hand wasn't good but had chances of improving. The only hands I could put them on were better than mine or there was a huge chance of being outdrawn. Is this an auto raise preflop and should I bet the river?? My thinking was that i would only get called by a better hand on the river but a missed draw might bet out hoping to take it down with a bluff. |

Re: Pacific $2 $4
Pre-flop: With 7 limpers this is a raise for the chance you hit your set.
On the flop: With just checking preflop, I would actually go for a check-raise. I dont know where there will be a bet, but someone will sure bet this flop and hopefully its someone in late position. A check-raise might protect your hand against overcards and also gutshots might face 2-cold. Value-bet the river, lots of small pairs will call you and you might even get raised by top-pair with ace-kicker! |

Re: Pacific $2 $4
I'd raise the flop and bet/fold to a raise on the river.
