I know that it's customary to do this right before breaking into the money.
I've done it on Stars tourneys as well. My question is , is this cool? Or do some consider it unethical? |

Some think it's cool.
Some think it's unethical. There is no right answer. :-) |

It's within the rules so how can it be unethical? It's stupid to think so. It IS annoying though.

It costs everyone at your table money, and thus makes you a jerk. I'm not sure that qualifies as "unethical" though.

It costs all of you money because it makes the blinds at your table rise at a faster rate than the others.
Besides, if you want to make money in tourneys, you'll have more success if you start raising instead of stalling and taking advantage of all the other wimps instead of being one yourself. |

How does it cost everyone money? [/ QUOTE ] Kurn pretty much covered this. Winning a tournament gives you more profit than making the lowest rung of the money 100 times. So try to win. |

I think of it the same as I think about calling a cop if someone tries to pick a fight with you.
It's legal, and people do it, but it's for punks. |
