Top two pair c/r\'ed on the turn. . .
Okay, I've been trying to clear the bonus at casino.net, and they have a terrible hand history system, so I'm going to have to do this on my own. Here we go:
Table is typical loose-passive. Unfortunately, I don't think Poker Tracker works at casino.net, and I was multi-tabling; my reads weren't very good. In general, button was weak-tight, CO was a calling station, and the blinds were new to the table (less than 15 hands each). Casino.net .50/1 limit: Hero is UTG with K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Preflop: Hero calls, 5 folds, CO calls, button calls, sb completes, bb checks. Flop (5 handed, 5 small bets): K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Sb checks, bb checks, Hero bets, CO calls, button calls, sb folds, bb calls. Turn (4 hands, 4.5 big bets): 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Sb checks, bb checks, Hero bets, CO calls, button folds, bb raises, Hero ???? |

Re: Top two pair c/r\'ed on the turn. . .
KQo is juuuust at the bottom of my raising range UTG, but I don't hate a limp. The next 30 posts will be people who think limping is a horrible mistake.
You're obviously going to showdown here, and while he may be slowplaying a straight , made 2 pair, or 88 just hit a set. I'll put BB on a range of 88, AJ, KT, K8, QT, Q8, J9, T8, even though AJ might raise PF. You're soundly ahead of this range, 62%-38%. I say 3-bet. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah but it's so much easier to play postflop! Huge mistake! OMG the sky is falling! It's almost as terrible as raising 3 limpers with QJs from the SB! Yeah, I 3-bet with the intention of not getting capped and subsequently throwing up in my mouth. |

If this was a straight up raise (not a check-raise), I'm 3-betting this everytime. However, since it isn't, I think we may be behind here a bit much and we also want to keep CO in. |

Wow limping is a horrible mistake. [/ QUOTE ] Could you elaborate on this more? This is one of my EP trouble hands. Especially at lower limits against unknowns. I'm 50/50 on raising KQo utg. |

I think he was parodying my parody of the classic ML forum response.
