I'd like to know what recent religious miracles have occured. It is my understanding that there haven't been any validated miracles. If you point out the Mormon prophet I will just ignore your post. Is it that God has ignored us for one reason or another? I personally don't believe in the current understandings of God. I won't claim to know that he/she/it doesn't exist, but I just don't believe in a God.

Check this one out. It has been happening for over 600 years from a 1600 year old Martyr and Saint.
http://www.cicap.org/en_artic/at101014.htm#1. I think the modern "healings" and "exorcisms" performed by Evangelical groups, televangelists and the like are a bunch of crap. But the above phenomena of St. Januarius's blood is legitimate. I have purposely given the most skeptical link I could find. But here is an additional fact: "Further, it is asserted by eyewitnesses of scientific credit and high respectability that a block of basalt at Pozzuoli, reputed to bear traces of the blood of St. Januarius, grows vividly red for a short time in May and September at the hour when the miracle of the liquefaction takes place in Naples (se Cavène, "Célèbre Miracle de S. Janvier", 1909, 277-300). Now that is cool. |
