How many times have you lost with quads?
Just curious. Over my online poker career which is about a year and a half old, I've probably played a quarter million hands and lost with quads 3 times.

Re: How many times have you lost with quads?
The only time I've ever lost with quads (and it's happened at least a few times) is when quads is on the board and I have a weaker kicker.

Both in O/8 games, both when I'd either flopped or turned quads, and both to rivered overquads. |

One of them turned smaller quads. The other rivered his royal. The hand wasn't slow-played. This was live casino poker for you online conspiracy theorists. Re: How many times have you lost with quads?
I am amazed that I had forgotten about this one - it only happened 4 months ago:
Absolute Poker 5/10 Hold'em (4 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG calls. Flop: (6.40 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, UTG bets, Hero calls, BB calls. Re: How many times have you lost with quads?
I have lost quads twice in bad beat jackpot hands during a promo at Absolute. Both times my quad tens lost to a royal. At the now closed Bigbetpoker.com I cracked quad 5's with a 9 high straight flush.
I assume you mean only holdem because in Omaha8 and Stud8 this has happened many more times then this in hands I have been in. |

I lost quad queens to quad aces but unfortunately it wasn't on the BBJ party tables.
