How would you play this turn? 6max, 5/10
Villain is good and aggressive post flop. Only history between us was me calling his pf raise with 56 vs his 88, flop 345, I lead, he raises, I 3 bet to 200. I lead 300 on 345(4) turn he calls, check down river (Q).

pushes? [/ QUOTE ] why blow it? just installment plan. a smaller bet allows him to draw dead, too, if thats what he has. [a draw] |

Villain must certainly think I have AT LEAST a big ace. Looking at it from villains perspective, if villain puts me on an ace, then what case can you make for hero in betting the queen turn. edit - I opted to check. Who hates this? |

I opted to check. Who hates this? [/ QUOTE ] I do. You want to double through him here. You have like $1600 behind so I would bet about $600 - $750 and put the rest of it on the river. I doubt there's any way to double through on the river by checking the turn. |

I doubt there's any way to double through on the river by checking the turn. [/ QUOTE ] I agree, but I think hero's turn bet should price villain in to any draws he may have; if villain has 55, we're getting all the money in anyway, so I think we want to make a bet that lets him stick around w/ everything else. Unless villain is good enough to see through this, I'd make a "weak" bet, say $400-$500, and then put the rest in on the river . . . |

He checked raised you on flop, then called your three bet. If he's going to check raise you again on turn let him. Bet pot. |

Re: How would you play this turn? 6max, 5/10
a weak bet of 400-500 might induce him to push the turn with his flush draw. He can't put you on a queen from the flop action.
