Re: Poker in NM
Hey Funk,
I live in Albuquerque -- I just compiled a list o' places to play in NM. Unfortunately, it's at work right now. Even more unfortunately, I have to go to work tonight for a little bit. But that's good for you; I'll post the places I know about when I get in. PP |

Re: Poker in NM
Hey,
Sorry it took so long...life is funny sometimes. Casino Apache -- NE of Las Cruces -- (877) 277-5677 2-4, 5-10, 10-20 HE 2-4, 5-10, 10-20 O/8 Cities of Gold -- Santa Fe -- (800) 455-3313 4-8 (½k) HE 4-8 (½k) O/8 Live games only played after tourneys Isleta -- Albuqueruqe -- (877) 7-ISLETA 2-10 HE 1-5 O/8 Sandia -- Albuquerque -- (800) 526-9366 4-8(½k), 10-20, 20-40, PL (occ.) HE 4-8(½k) O/8 1-5 Stud 1-5 Stud/8 Santa Ana -- 17 miles north of Albuquerque --(505) 867-0000 3-6, 4-8(½k) HE 3-6, 4-8(½k) O/8 1-5 Stud 1-5 Stud/8 Only open Tues, Thur-Sun Sky City -- 50 miles west of Albuquerque -- (888) SKY-CITY 3-5 HE 1-5 Stud Thur-Sun at 8 pm I found a list of "all" NM casinos on a NM state website, then called them to see what poker games they spread (if any). The above list is the result. As to how the games are, I can't speak for any room except Sandia -- it's a nice enough room. The 1-5 Stud and 4-8 HE games are fairly similar to what I've seen in Vegas. Hope this helps, PP |
