Reads based set line
Playing a set fast is good.
However, I think sometimes a read can allow you to stray from the path. I had noticed Villain (69/19/3) had a tendency to overplay his good hands. The following hand in particular, which went down 5-10 mins earlier, set the whole thing up. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) converter saw flop|saw showdown Button ($29.23) SB ($24.75) BB ($25.40) Hero ($35.55) Villain ($61) Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10. 1 fold, Villain raises to $1, Button calls $1, SB (poster) calls $0.90, 1 fold. Flop: ($3.25) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Villain bets $5, Button folds, SB calls $5. Turn: ($13.25) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) SB checks, Villain bets $20, SB calls $18.75 (All-In). River: ($52) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) Final Pot: $52 Results: SB has 9h Ah (full house, nines full of threes). Villain has Td Tc (two pair, tens and nines). Outcome: SB wins $50.75. Villain wins $1.25. ...and here's the hand in question. What do you think? Good, or are you gonna tell me to "pot flop, 3/4 turn"? Re: Reads based set line
I think I'm still raising the flop. Make it about $10-12 and then 3/4 the turn (probably a push with these stack sizes)
