Ok Ill set up the hand and see what you guys think.
Its 2$/4$ NL at the local B&M. I get dealt in the BB Ac Ah. Folded to MP who raises to 20$ (100$ish stack) folded to me and I smooth call ($350 stack). flop is Kh Qh Jh. I bet 45$ into the 42$ pot. He immediately goes all-in for his last 55$, AND flips over his cards showing me Qs Jc. (He thought I pushed or he made a mistake, unsure right now) So its 50$ to me and I KNOW im behind right now. What do you do? Ill post what I actually did later. |

what's interesting about it? it's pure math. there's not even any poker involved. you're a favorite to win the hand.

You've got 17 outs. |

If there was no money in the pot and he bet 50 dollars and you can see his hand like you can you would call...
Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing Kh Qh Jh cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV Ac Ah 574 57.98 410 41.41 6 0.61 0.583 Qs Jc 410 41.41 574 57.98 6 0.61 0.417 As is you are getting almost 3-1 on your money. Autocall... |

Interesting sure is in the eye of the beholder
This should also be small stakes. |

I found it interesting because the person who went allin with 2pair actually was quite upset when I called. I ended up catching a 4th heart to take the pot and he steamed away from the table. What was better is the fact the rest of the table started to play really weak, I guess it all worked out.

It's an easy call, as several people have pointed out.
Unless, of course, you were playing at Foxwoods or a casino with similar rules. There, you call the floor and have his hand disqualified. |
