It\'s too perfect not to raise, right?
30/60 Party, full game
Unknown raises from the CO. I 3-bet with ATo, decent player caps in the BB, we call. Flop: 982r I check, BB bets, CO calls, I peel Turn: 9 Checked around River: 5 I check, BB checks, CO bets If there was ever a time to squeeze, now is the time, right? |

Re: It\'s too perfect not to raise, right?
CO is probably never folding a pair, though he could be stupid...I had no read.
I guess I figured just calling here might just be enough to make BB overcall with the nut no-pair....I'm no rocket scientist, but I can't come up with many hands the CO would play this way that have me beat. |

actually, now that you mention it, a checkraise probably is not neccessary at all since the bb would need nerves of steel to overcall with ace high. just calling would probably be a good enough squeeze itself.

[/ QUOTE ] I dont think this is true, in a SH pot that nobody has shown any strength, I think he overcalls with AK here 85% of the time. I like the checkraise, unless he has a5 or 67 u win it. or decides to call with ak-aj |
