Default I HATE my roomate

He talked me into a bad river play...
5/10 NL on Party, 6-max. Villain is reasonable TAG. Button is unknown. Effective stacks $1200.
Hero is in BB w/J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG Folds, Villain limps in UTG+1, 1 fold, Button limps, Sb completes, Hero checks.
Flop ($40):
7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Checked around to button who bets 30. Hero calls, folded to villain who calls.
Turn (130): T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero checks, Villain bets $100, Button folds, Hero raises to $350, Villain calls.
River (830): 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero...?

No, he told me to check-call. Villain had a lone J. I think the push is ridiculously easy as villain can't put me on a flush draw after the check-raise, so he would think his J is still good. Sure he might have a flush sometimes, but I'm calling his all-in either way so all checking does is give him a chance to check behind his lower straight.
As for everybody saying lead turn because we can get it all-in, if he's not raising my check-raise why do we think he's necessarily so in love with just the J that he would call a 3-bet all in?

you have it right, he cant call your turn raise with just a draw so unless he has Jc xc youre gonna win this one. Once you check though you should've realized that your roommate was an idiot and c/r him all in.

or did he check behind?
