Cleaning inkjet cartridges
Hi there
I bought a new cartridge for my Lexmark Z25 about 4 months ago and I printed some stuff at that time. I basically only print maybe 50 pages a year. I just tried prining something and nothing was printed on paper despite having a full cartridge so I know the thing is dried up. Is there any way to unclog, rehydrate the cartridge? My printer monitors the ink levels and it rightly says they are full so I know it's not a case of running out of ink. |

Re: Cleaning inkjet cartridges
Squirt a drop of Windex directly on the jets. Let it sit upside down for about 1 minute. Dab thoroughly with a paper towel. The ink should run on the towel now. Make certain the contacts are dry before reinstalling.
I had my color Lexmark refilled about a month ago and had not used it after the first day. I called up the ink place and that's what he told me to do. Worked like a charm. Good luck..... |
