Howard Lederer Video
Has anyone seen his DVD or heard about it? I have never watched a video on poker, only read and was wondering if it is worth the 30 bucks.
Thanks, Ben |

Re: Howard Lederer Video
Run a search there's a few reviews...from what I remember it was very beginner oriented and probably a waste of time if you have any real expereince.

Of course it is geared for beginners. I have only been playing for a couple months so I figured I would check it out. If you have played poker for more than a month or two it would be a waste of your money to buy the video. |

Re: Howard Lederer Video
I personally know the producer of this video. It's a 90-min video. The first 30 minutes are at a very basic level, and you'll be kicking yourself at first for buying it. Then, over the remaining hour, Howard goes into some very meaty topics. Also, you'll receive an odds chart and one that helps you set-up a workable no-limit tournament (blinds, increases, and such). The odds chart is intended to be used while you play/practice so you can expedite your understanding of the odds, and it's intended for beginning players who Howard advises play fewer hands.
The 1st half hour you can use to teach new people to play. The rest, and the odds chart, can probably help most beginning players (and those who think they're intermediate, when they're really beginners). I'd recommend it. Also, he is coming out with a 2nd video any day now, which is all at the advanced level. |
