Microwave is broken, what to do?
I've got some leftover hamburgers that I'd like to eat right now, but the microwave is broken. Fixing the microwave is not possible. Using someone else's microwave is not possible (it's 2 AM right now).
So I need to heat up the hamburgers without using a microwave. I have an oven available, but I've never used it to reheat hamburgers before. Has anyone tried it? Does it work well? Is there another solution that I am overlooking? |

Low heat in a covered fry pan.

Hmm. That should do the trick. But I have no cooking experience at all so I could potentially screw this up. Even though it sounds easy.

A little oil in the pain to keep it from sticking; a little water to build up some steam to help heat it through evenly.

How much is a "little"?
I'll go see if I can start to get this set up. With any luck I'll have my food ready before it's time for breakfast! |

[/ QUOTE ] Enough oil to coat the pan with a very thin layer... shouldn't take no more than a tablespoon. Probably a tablespoon or 2 of water. You don't need to boil it, just want to make some steam. |

wrap them in tin foil and your good to go. Throw the microwave out the window. 50$ at walmart get you a new one.
