Default percentage of users having PT and PokerEdge

Does anyone have an idea (and not just a guess) of which percentage of players has PT and PokerEdge running at the various limits? Any at .5/1? All at 30/60? Etc.

seriously. PokerEdge is a waste of money. Datamining + PV makes a lot more sense.

Explain, I say this as a PokerEdge fan

I use PokerEdge only for table selection. When playing PV is obviously much better.

I have read that some people datamine for 30minutes before sitting at a table! Damn, this is more expensive than the $10,- /month PE fee.

Didn't mean to promote any product, just had no idea there was any alternative. Never heard of datamining and playerview before.

So if I understand correctly the following is considered to be wise:
- using PT+PE for table selection (if you consider PE to be a waste use you're own collected data instead)
- use PV for playing (initially makes use of the PE database, later also/only of the hands you're playing at that moment)
One question remains: is it still useful to datamine on a table you're not playing or intending to when you have PE or does PE provide you with that data anyway in the following hours (put otherwise: do they watch ALL tables above .5/1?)
Thanks for your patience with me.
