Default Paying off a river raise with a set

Only 4 hands with villian so far. Any way you can get away from this on the river when villian raises?
How is the rest of the hand. THanks.

River sucks, but you can't really fold. It'll be two pair often enough I think. I like preflop.

No, I'd call. It sucks, but I'd call. Yeah it's most likely the straight but sometimes you'll see a guy making a scare raise or raising with something like two pair.

Well played in my opinion.

I don't dig the PF raise...maybe in MP3 i'd open this but in MP1 i don't mind limping with a poster. The rest of the hand is good.

Oh.. I missed the preflop raise. Whatev. I don't really mind it. If you think it'll limit the field then go for it. Otherwise it's easy to get away from if the flop is ass.

MP1 might be a little early, but I still like it. With a poster, I still have trouble open limping with this.

Limp or fold PF. Not late enough to start openraising with small PPs.
Getting aboyut 1:11, I think you should call. Its fairly close, however.

77 isnt a terrible opener here. if it is wrong its not bad to the point where hero cant make it up post flop with EXPERT play. no way i fold 77 pf here.

hows your rebuilding going gc?

So far, so good. On paradise, I'm running at 6.94/100 over 1,000 hands at .5/1.

I can see this is gonna take a while...

You know, I get a lot more sup bros on Paradise than I ever got on Party? Interesting.

Really? I don't consider 77 small . I'm thinking open-raising 77 in MP1 is standard. I was more inclined to raise with the presence of the poster. THe poster is calling lots of speculative hands, and raising his strong ones. So I find the flop easier to play, especially if it's 2 or 3 handed.
