What Sidedish to make for BBQ
Got a huge family/friends annual BBQ tommorow out in the sticks. (The people that run it kill a whole cow for the thing each year). Anyways I am planning on bring a side dish of sometype and don't want to bring the usual stuff (deviled eggs, potato salad, baked beans, etc...) becuase everyone else brings those.
So anybody got any suggestions on what I should make, and possible what beer I should bring for myself. |

Re: What Sidedish to make for BBQ
I'll give you a good salad recipe that my mom always made. I've made it for a few BBQs, potlucks etc. and people seem to like it.
3 cans of cut string beans, drain the water 1 eight inch summer sausage, chopped 3 bell peppers, chopped 1 leek (or green onions), chopped 5 hard boiled eggs, chopped. Mix all this in a bowl. Pour about one bottle of Italian dressing (I like to make my own, but storebought works) over it all, and mix it up good. Let sit in fridge for a few hours. Swede |

This sounds pretty good, and relatively inexpensive. Nice.

Re: What Sidedish to make for BBQ
99.9% chance their will already be coleslaw.
And I think there is probably a 00.1% chance someone will make these. Check it out. THE ORIGINAL BBQ NACHOS. |
