Default made my straight on the turn.

villain is 48/8 after about 65 hands. He's only shown down 26% of the time. I haven't tangled with him much.

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG raises and is all in , MP calls, 2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (5 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP calls.

I try to win now vs weakman.

Turn: (3.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP raises, Hero calls.

ok card, bad action. That raise was unexpected, and I start to worry about a made flush here. My river plan is to check and call.

River: (7.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 8.50 BB

typically the river is a clarkmeister type bluff, but given the turn action I felt like it would be spewing. Do I hate money?

villian's ag is .073, though I didn't look when I played the hand. Edited op to account for UTG

i Check/Call the flop,

villain is weaktight postflop and I wanted him out.

I can't c/r because

A)he has no reason to bet at me with a hand I beat unless he specifically was holding a K. I have no reason to believe this to be the case.

and

B)If he was waiting around for a flush to come in, I'll get threebet and have to spend an extra bet to showdown.

----

my real issue here is the river. Should I have boldly clarkmeistered here, or does turn action on a flush card sometimes dictate a different strategy?

Yeah its a "Combined package".

if you check/call the flop, Chances are he'll continue to bet.. hence the Check/raise.

As you played it(As i said in the 2nd quote, i bet the turn).

If you get 3bet on the king[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] you can ditch it there and then IMO.

The 4th heart dropping isn't a bet vs this guy for me, i think he'll call to often with weak hearts or have the nuts from the way he played it to often for it to be profitable.

Just my 2cents...

Fold preflop.

Re-raise the turn.

Bet the river.

I agree if the raiser wasn't all in, but the chance he's stacking off/we're on BB i call.

[ QUOTE ]

Re-raise the turn.

[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed as this guys a bit crazy and could easily be betting a king. Are you folding to a re-raise?

[ QUOTE ]

Bet the river.

[/ QUOTE ]
I don't like it as i think we'll get called by this guy to often to make this profitable.

Please reply, Cheers.
