I stop n go with MP
Sorry, no reads:
Party Poker 1.00/2.00 Hold'em (6 handed) link Preflop: Hero is MP with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 folds, Hero raises, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls. Flop: (6.50 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, Hero bets, CO raises, BB calls, Hero calls. Turn: (6.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, Hero bets I figured he might be making that flop raise with a number of hands, a bunch of which i beat. I also figured that any hand he raises here I can safely fold as he for sure has me beat. Thoughts? |

Re: I stop n go with MP
I like this. I often bet/fold this turn because the free-card play with a flush draw is so commonly used (overused). If you are ahead, you don't want him getting a free card. With 9BB in the pot after his turn raise, it's close to calling, but I think the A outs are often not good when he raises, so bet/fold is OK. In my experience, his raise on the turn (given the preflop action) is very often AQ, QTs, QJs, KQs. If your A outs are live 50% of the time, you have 4.5 outs in a 9BB pot. Since many opponents won't raise the turn here with less than AQ, fearing you have that hand, I think you can bet/fold.
